Flock

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. Flock is built as a trusted neighborhood for believers — not an ad network, not a place where your personal life gets sold.

Our promise

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your prayers, messages, or faith activity to run ads. Flock only steps into private activity when it is needed for safety, support, legal reasons, or a report/flag that must be reviewed.

What we collect

Account details you provide (name, handle, email), content you post (videos, prayers, comments, reactions), and basic usage data needed to run the app — such as which posts you view and interact with.

How we use it

To operate FLOCK: showing you a personalized feed, delivering notifications, enabling live gatherings, moderating the community, and improving the app. We do not run advertising.

Private messages and personal activity

Your direct conversations and personal activity are not for public viewing. Flock’s team does not browse private messages for entertainment, control, or curiosity. Private information is only handled when needed to keep the platform running, respond to your request, investigate a safety report, or meet a legal obligation.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information. We don't share your email with other users. We don't turn your prayers, testimony, messages, or worship activity into advertising profiles.

Moderation and flagged content

Public posts, live rooms, comments, stories, and reports may be reviewed when something is flagged or appears to break the Community Covenant. The goal is safety and accountability — not control over someone’s faith walk.

Your controls

You can edit your profile, delete your posts, and request deletion of your account at any time from Edit Profile.

Age

Flock is 18+ only. We ask for your date of birth at signup to confirm you're eligible. We do not display it publicly and we do not sell or share it. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it.

California, Colorado, Virginia & other US state rights

If you're a resident of a US state with a privacy law (California CCPA/CPRA, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and others), you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to request deletion, and to correct inaccurate information. We do not sell or "share" your personal information as those terms are defined by these laws, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any right, email support@joinflock.network from the address on your account.

Recording in live gatherings

Sanctuary live rooms may be recorded by the host and saved as a story or replay. When a room is recording you'll see a visible "● REC" badge. By joining as a speaker you consent to being recorded; you can leave the room at any time.
