Terms of Service

Flock is 18+ only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Flock. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we will remove it. You are responsible for your account and everything posted from it.

You own what you post. By posting, you grant Flock a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your content inside the app so it can appear in feeds, stories, live rooms, and profiles. You can delete your content at any time.

You promise that you either created the content or have permission to share it, and that it does not violate anyone's rights.

Flock is a moderated sanctuary. The following are prohibited and may be removed without notice:

• Nudity, sexual content, or provocative/objectifying posing.
• Drugs, marijuana, vaping, alcohol use, or glorifying intoxication.
• Weapons, violence, gang content, threats, or self-harm content.
• Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or slurs of any kind.
• Content that endangers minors in any way.
• Spam, ads, MLM, scams, or unauthorized promotion.
• Copyright or trademark infringement.
• False, misleading, or deceptive information.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban. Serious violations (minor safety, threats, illegal activity) are reported to authorities.

Flock is an online-only community. We do not host, organize, sponsor, or endorse in-person meetups, gatherings, dates, home visits, or any offline contact between users. We strongly discourage arranging to meet anyone you connect with on Flock in person.

If you choose to communicate with another user off-platform or meet in real life, you do so entirely at your own risk. Flock is not responsible for the conduct of users off the platform, including anything that happens in DMs shared outside Flock, on other apps, by phone, or in person. Never send money, share your home address, share financial or login information, or travel to meet someone you met on Flock.

If another user pressures you to meet in person, send money, or move the conversation off Flock, please use the Report button and block them.

Live gatherings are recorded and may be saved as Stories or Replays. By going live or joining as a speaker, you consent to being recorded. Hosts are responsible for keeping their rooms within these Terms and must not use live rooms to organize offline meetups (see Section 4).

Every post, comment, story, message, profile, and live room has a Report button. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We may remove content or accounts at our sole discretion when the Covenant is broken.

Giving is currently paused while Flock completes its business registration and payment onboarding. When giving is enabled, donations made through Flock will go directly to the ministry, church, or campaign selected, and Flock will not take a percentage of tithes or offerings. Payment processing will be handled by our partners (e.g. Stripe Connect) under their terms.

Donations are only tax-deductible when the receiving ministry is a registered 501(c)(3) or equivalent charitable organization in your country. Flock does not issue tax receipts — the receiving ministry is responsible for that. Refund requests are handled by the receiving ministry, not by Flock.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Covenant, or that pose a risk to the community.

Flock is provided "as is." We do not endorse every message, prayer, or teaching posted by users. Nothing on Flock is professional medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice — if you are in crisis, call your local emergency number or a licensed professional. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Flock is not liable for user content, for the conduct of other users on or off the platform, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. You use Flock at your own risk.

We may update these Terms as Flock grows. Material changes will be surfaced in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
